Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Create and download QR codes without an account, payment, or watermark. The tool works directly in your browser.
Do these QR codes expire?
The generated QR image has no built-in expiry. It stores your content directly rather than using a Senvite redirect. A linked website still needs to stay online, and a Wi-Fi password still needs to be current.
Can I make a heart-shaped or circular QR code?
Yes. Choose Heart or Circle to surround the complete QR code with a matching decorative pattern. Always test your finished design with the phones your guests will use, especially before printing.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is a 1200 × 1200 pixel image that works well in documents and social posts. SVG stays sharp when resized and is useful for print layouts and design software.
Can I change the destination after downloading?
No. These are static QR codes, so the content is fixed in the image. Change the content in the generator and download a new code when you need a different destination.
What makes a QR code easier to scan?
Use a dark pattern on a light, plain background. Keep the code unobstructed, leave clear space around it, and avoid very long content when possible. Test the downloaded image at its intended print size. Transparent QR codes need a contrasting surface underneath.
Are my text and Wi-Fi details uploaded?
The QR generator processes your content in your browser and does not send it to our servers. Anyone who receives a QR code can read the information it contains, including a Wi-Fi password.
